How Does Tarot Work?
The short answer; it just does! To put it in simpler terms… I request the best knowledge of the universe, knowing that intention is everything, and ask my guides to convey these messages to me to interpret and relay to you. I practice tapping into the ‘mycelium’ every day through meditation and various rituals. I spend every day learning to become a better tarot reader, and while there are pre-formatted answers to cards I get intuitive hits from the ‘other’ realm that guide me to convey specific messages and information in my own particular way.
How Do You Get The Information?
I ask my spirit guides, who I meditate with and work with every day to connect with your spirit guides (I believe we all have them), and ask for the best information that would be most helpful to you. It comes in the form of Visions (3rd eye), Feelings/Emotions, and from the imagery in the cards to which my guides guide me.
How Often Can I Get A Reading?
You can get a reading as often as you like, BUT, you may want to see how things pan-out for any one situation with at least a 4 month gap. So, as long as it’s a different situation/topic, there is nothing stopping you from getting a Career reading and then a Love reading soon after.

Tarot should not take away your own intuition and internal guidance. Tarot is there to help you and empower you, so don’t rely on it to make EVERY decision in your life because turning it into a crux will paralyse you.
Ultimately, everything is your choice. You must exercise your free-will and own each decision you make - and if you you are scared of making mistakes, as many of us are made to fear in society, remember this;
There are no such things as ‘Mistakes’. Some of the best ‘mistakes’ have led to the greatest discoveries and led people on the greatest unforeseen journeys. ‘Mistakes’ are a chance to grow and tap into your deepest rooted desires, which are the energy from which we live.
Information on getting a tarot reading
In a 1-to-1 Reading
Can I ask Questions/Talk during a live reading?
Yes!
We will have conversations throughout the reading as I will convey to you what messages I am receiving and you can verify them; I may ask you questions during the initial reading after which we can chat about the outcome, and then I can draw any more cards that may help clarify things. So, while I ask that talking be kept to a minimum to give the best chance of messages to be received and interpreted, there will be periods in which we can talk.
What happens during a live reading?
- At the start of a reading we will have a brief discussion about what you expect from the reading, clarifying the question/s, and then I will guide us through a simple meditation, this is so I can read more clearly for you and tune in to your energy.
- I will draw tarot cards and interpret them within a spread (a pattern of cards). I often use charms to get a deeper meaning; these are cast onto the spread of cards.
- Wisdom cards are a lovely way to ‘land’ the reading as they can summarise the energy of the reading and give practical advice and things to focus on.
Will you give me a recording of the reading?
No, but you are welcome to record it and I will photograph any relelvant cards and message you them.
In a Remote Reading
When and where do I ask my question?
You are welcome to email me - but if you prefer you can wait for me to contact you and give you instructions to leave a voice-note. I know some people don't like to leave voice messages, which is why I have the option to email me the query. I may ask for more information or to clarify your question before moving on with the reading.
Is it as accurate as an in-person reading?
Yes, and honestly, sometimes it can be better. Just depends on so many things. I can dive deep and come up with some really interesting things when I do a reading in solitude for someone, so I hope you don't mind a lot of rambling.
How do I get my results?
I will send you a voice note, either by the private messaging service or to your email so you can listen back to it as much as you like.
There may be a few photos of some cards too that I'll forward.
